Spot UV labels
Spot UV applies a clear gloss coating only to selected areas of a label, like the logo or a pattern, usually over a matte or Soft Touch base. Unlike Gloss UV, which covers the whole label, Spot UV relies on the contrast between shiny and matte areas, and it stays flat to the touch; Raised UV is the version you can feel.

All labelsWhat is Spot UV on a label?
It's a clear gloss coating printed only on chosen areas of a matte label, so those areas shine against the matte background.
Does Spot UV need a matte label?
It works best on one. The effect comes from the contrast between gloss and matte, so most Spot UV labels use a matte or Soft Touch base.
