Concentrate packaging
The short answer
Concentrates are most often packed in small jars: a 3.5–5 ml round or 5 ml square jar for about 0.5–1 g, a 7–9 ml round or 9 ml square jar for 1–5 g, and the 15 ml round jar for bigger portions around 7 g. ml is space, not grams, so it depends on how thick the concentrate is. Vibe Packaging makes all of these jars, custom printed to your brand.
Concentrate jars are sized by fill and by how you want the jar to look on the shelf. Pick the fill to see what fits.

Typical jar size by fill
| Fill | Jar size | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| 0.5–1 g | 3.5–5 ml | Compact retail jars |
| 1–5 g | 7–9 ml round or 9 ml square | Room for bigger fills and a bigger logo |
| Around 7 g | 15 ml | Wide, low round jar |
Starting points. Consistency (sauce, badder, shatter) changes how full a jar looks. We'll confirm with samples.

FAQ
Concentrates packaging questions
What size jar is used for 1 g of concentrate?
A 3.5–5 ml round or 5 ml square jar is the usual pick for 1 g. The 7–9 ml round jar gives more room and a bigger lid, and holds up to about 5 g. A 5 ml jar doesn't hold 5 g. It depends on how thick the concentrate is.
Round or square concentrate jars?
Round jars are the standard and come in 3.5–5, 7–9 and 15 ml. Square jars with rounded corners, in 5 and 9 ml, stand out more on the shelf. Both come in clear with a black or white lid, or solid black or white.
Are concentrate jars child-resistant?
Yes. Our concentrate jars come in certified child-resistant versions. Tell us where you sell and we'll send the certificate for your package.
