It holds a full 12 oz but looks slimmer and more modern than a soda can, which is the look many seltzer and functional drink brands want. It also uses a standard 202 lid, so it works with our child-resistant end and with many co-packers' lines.
What's the difference between a 12 oz sleek and a 12 oz standard can?
Both hold 12 oz (355 ml). The sleek can is narrower and taller, and the standard can is the shorter, wider classic soda can. They share the same 202 lid size.
Can this can be child-resistant?
Yes. It takes our resealable child-resistant end, often called a CRC end, which fits any can with a standard 202 lid. Your customer can open it, close it again and save the rest for later. Tell us where you sell and we'll confirm it fits your market's rules.
How can I put my brand on it?
Pick a plain can in silver, white or black and add a label, wrap it top to bottom with a shrink sleeve in gloss, matte or soft-touch matte, or print your design right on the can.
What liner does this can have?
A BPA-NI Gen 2 liner: the thin coating inside the can that keeps your drink off the metal, made without added BPA. It's the newer version of the liner and the one cannabis drink brands ask for.
Do I need to test my drink in this can?
Yes, before your first full run. Your drink should be lab tested in the can to make sure nothing reacts with the aluminum and to check that the THC holds its strength over time. The cans and ends should also run on your canning line, and through your pasteurizer if you use one. We'll walk you through it.
